Meet Christian and Joy Villa

I had the pleasure of first working with the Gunderson family a couple of  years ago when I  photographed them for some  promotional posters  for their business, Heavenly Harp.    Then last spring they asked me to photograph them again for some up coming events, and this time daughter Joy’s boyfriend, Christian Villa, was there.  They were such a cute couple so I was thrilled when Christian called me to photograph his surprise proposal to Joy on June 4th, 2014.  Their beautiful wedding was on Sunday, December 28, 2014.  These two are so completely in love.  It was such an honor to be a part of their special day.

Christian and Joy had a unique request.  They didn’t want to be in any pictures without one another.  So you will notice that they were at each others side throughout the entire day.  L*O*V*E!

If you enjoyed this little sneak peek at Christian and Joy’s beautiful wedding, then grab some pop corn, sit back and relax and enjoy the slideshow of their day by clicking right HERE.

Meet the Karbula, Lahavich, Sigler Family

I have known Amy Karbula for many years.  Long ago she was the librarian at Highland Elementary school when my three oldest children went there.  (She is still there, but my kids are long graduated).  She is a great woman and to know her is to love her! Each year I donate a family sitting to the silent auction at Highland elementary and this year Amy won the session.  We got together in December, the day after Christmas, when all the kids were in town for the holidays.  Take a peek at their cuteness!

Meet the Zuccato Family

This was my first time working with this fun family.  They are full of personality and we had a great time on our shoot.  It was a dreary, very gray day, but the rain stayed away until our drive home and we got some great images!

Meet the Roggeman Family

Every year I donate a photo shoot to a few of the elementary schools in the area.  This year the Roggeman’s won my auctioned shoot at Highland Elementary. We had so much fun on this shoot.  The Roggeman’s were up for anything.  Including jumping at sunset, despite mom’s broken foot!  I have known mom, Julie, for years.  And anyone who knows her will tell you: To know her is to love her!  She is the kindest, most caring woman and I just love her.  She is surrounded by boys, but was recently joined by new daughter-in-law, Celeste.  Check out this great family.

Groves Family 2014

I adore this cute little family!  I have known mom, Nicole, since she was in elementary school.  As she got older she used to baby sit my kids.  I have had the privilege of doing her senior portraits, her formal bridal portraits, and many years of family portraits.  You can see some of her family and her wedding here, here, here, and here.  I love that they show off their cute personalities in each shoot.

Meet the Michael Family

In business they say that the biggest compliment you can give is a referral.  I find that to be so true!  My awesome, loyal client Laura Lu referred me to several of her friends this fall for family portraits.  This cute family are the Michaels and they were refereed by Laura too.  We headed over to DC Marketplace for our shoot.
