Austin — Red Mountain High School Senior 2015

Austin Porter is a senior at Red Mountain High School here in Mesa, Arizona.  He has been an important part of both the football and lacrosse teams and he excels academically.  For his senior portraits we decided to head out to granite Reef because what better back ground is there for a Senior at Red Mountain High School then Red Mountain!  Congratulations on your upcoming graduation Austin!

Luke — Mountain View Senior 2015

I have known the Shill family since Mountain View senior, Luke, was in kindergarten.  A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to work with Luke’s big brother, Rock Shill (you can see his senior portraits here.)  and now it is Luke’s turn.  Luke is quite a talented kiddo.  He was a big part of both the volleyball and basketball teams at Mountain View.  He has been playing the ukulele for years and has also recently picked up the acoustic guitar.  After graduation he plans on heading out on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and then off to college.   Congratulations Luke!

Meet Christian and Joy Villa

I had the pleasure of first working with the Gunderson family a couple of  years ago when I  photographed them for some  promotional posters  for their business, Heavenly Harp.    Then last spring they asked me to photograph them again for some up coming events, and this time daughter Joy’s boyfriend, Christian Villa, was there.  They were such a cute couple so I was thrilled when Christian called me to photograph his surprise proposal to Joy on June 4th, 2014.  Their beautiful wedding was on Sunday, December 28, 2014.  These two are so completely in love.  It was such an honor to be a part of their special day.

Christian and Joy had a unique request.  They didn’t want to be in any pictures without one another.  So you will notice that they were at each others side throughout the entire day.  L*O*V*E!

If you enjoyed this little sneak peek at Christian and Joy’s beautiful wedding, then grab some pop corn, sit back and relax and enjoy the slideshow of their day by clicking right HERE.

Meet the Karbula, Lahavich, Sigler Family

I have known Amy Karbula for many years.  Long ago she was the librarian at Highland Elementary school when my three oldest children went there.  (She is still there, but my kids are long graduated).  She is a great woman and to know her is to love her! Each year I donate a family sitting to the silent auction at Highland elementary and this year Amy won the session.  We got together in December, the day after Christmas, when all the kids were in town for the holidays.  Take a peek at their cuteness!

Meet the Zuccato Family

This was my first time working with this fun family.  They are full of personality and we had a great time on our shoot.  It was a dreary, very gray day, but the rain stayed away until our drive home and we got some great images!

Meet the Roggeman Family

Every year I donate a photo shoot to a few of the elementary schools in the area.  This year the Roggeman’s won my auctioned shoot at Highland Elementary. We had so much fun on this shoot.  The Roggeman’s were up for anything.  Including jumping at sunset, despite mom’s broken foot!  I have known mom, Julie, for years.  And anyone who knows her will tell you: To know her is to love her!  She is the kindest, most caring woman and I just love her.  She is surrounded by boys, but was recently joined by new daughter-in-law, Celeste.  Check out this great family.
