Meet Jessie Smith. She will graduate from Mountain View High School this May. I met Jessie when she was still in elementary and it is amazing to see the beautiful young woman she has become. Not to mention who wouldn’t kill for her flawless skin! She was so much fun to work with and I think you can see her personality shine through these images. Congratulations Jessie! Can’t wait to see the next chapter in your life unfold!
We first met the Spahr family last summer when we moved into our new home. They are such a great family and we have loved getting to know them. However, Dad, Tim, just received a new job in Texas and so they are moving in the next month. While we are so happy for them and this new opportunity in their lives, we will miss this great family. So, I thought it would be fun if we went out into natural Arizona and did a family shoot so they will remember us and Arizona! Love you Spahr family!!

I have known Emmy Wright for about seven years now. She lived on the street just north of us for years. She was just a couple of years older than my girls and they always adored her and really looked up to her. Emmy is the kind of girl that you pray your daughters grow up to be. She is smart, beautiful, kind, spiritual and talented. When I heard Emmy was getting married I was curious to see what her finance would be like. Daniel is a great guy and lots of fun, and you can see how much he loves Emmy. Emmy met Daniel through her brother, Jake, who was Daniel’s companion on his mission in Boise Idaho, in early 2013. You can read Emmy’s first hand version of their love story right here.
Emmy and Daniel were married in the Mesa, Arizona, LDS temple on Saturday, December 28, 2013. Their wedding day was a whirlwind of perfection!
I hope you enjoyed this peek at Daniel and Emmy’s beautiful day. For even more of the festivities, take a look at their slideshow right HERE!

I have known this groom, Tyler, since he was 11-years-old. It has been so fun to watch him grow into a good looking, intelligent teenager, and then into an amazing young man. And his mom just happens to be one of my favorite people in the world! I was so happy for Tyler when I started hearing about him dating Morgan. And I was absolutely thrilled when they asked me to shoot their wedding. They are such a fun couple and are so obviously in love! On December 27, 2013, Tyler and Morgan were sealed in the Mesa, Arizona, LDS temple. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Rhoton!

I first met Scott and Suzy Perkinson over fifteen years ago when we first moved to Arizona. I have had the opportunity to watch these cute kids grow up, graduate, get married and have babies of their own. Look at these adorable grand babies! Middle daughter, Kelley is leaving on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints later this month and so this was a perfect time for a family portrait. Enjoy their cuteness!
Several months ago I donated a family photo session to Entz Elementary school for their silent auction to earn funds for school projects. Lanae Hooper was the winning bidder and this is her family session! However, the Hoopers also happen to be friends of our family and so it was really fun to have the opportunity to work with them. Oldest son, Drew, had just gotten home from his mission and second son, Clayton, is leaving on his mission later this month so it was the perfect time for a family portrait. Happy New Year Hoopers!
I first met Sherry Gamble when I photographed her children at their day care center about eight years ago. And I have had the privilege of working with her and her cute kiddos every year since! You can see their last few shoots here, here, and here. Thanks for another great shoot Gamble-Finkbeiner Family!
Meet the Mitchell Family. I met Jeni a couple of years ago and immediately knew we would be friends. Her smile is contagious and she is so kind and giving. You may also recognize son, Cameron and his cute wife Jessica from here and here. It was great to meet the rest of the Mitchell gang for their family photos. Jeni had the shoot all planned out with a special location she had found. . .and then it rained for three straight days! It just doesn’t do that in Arizona very often! The location was totally flooded, so we braved the cold and wet and headed to Granite Reef for our shoot instead.
