Several years ago I had the opportunity to shoot the wedding of Jared & Kallie Pace. About a year and a half later the first addition to their family, adorable baby Linden arrived. (you can see her new born photos here.) Since then I have had the opportunity to watch their family grow each year for annual pictures (you can see a few here, here and here). And last month, they added a 7 pound 10 ounce, 19 inch, bundle of joy to their family. Introducing the adorable Rigden Pace (and his beautiful big sister Linden.)

Even a cloudy monsoon filled Arizona day couldn’t damper the spirits of Joseph Dredge and Haya Miller on this day! On Saturday, August 2nd, Joe and Haya were married in the beautiful new Gilbert Arizona temple. It was a perfect day filled with love and laughter. Congratulations you two!
If you liked this little sneak peek of Joe & Haya’s big day, you can see even more wedding day goodness right HERE in a full slideshow!
Meet the beautiful TessieAnn. Tessie’s father passed away a few months before she was born while he was serving our great country in the Air Force over seas. I have had the privilege of working with this family for years and was so excited when mom, Brianna asked me to take Tessie’s first photos. Brianna wanted Tessie’s dad to be part of her photo shoot and so we did the best we could to honor him and show the special place he will always hold in this families heart!.

If you follow my blog, you may remember THIS wedding of Breegan and Gideon Arnett that I shot last summer in Portland, Oregon. The bride, Breegan, is the oldest daughter of a good friend of mine from high school. It was so great to see Debbie, husband Rich, and her five kids. I hadn’t seen her three oldest girls since they were toddlers and I had never met her two boys, and here they are all grown up.
This summer, her second daughter, Makenna got married! And again, I had the opportunity to fly to Oregon to stay with them and shoot her beautiful wedding. Last summer when I was in Oregon for the wedding Makenna was telling me how she was heading off to Brigham Young University in the fall for college. Shortly after she arrived at BYU she met a handsome young man from Idaho, named Sam Whitworth. And, as they say, the rest is history! He came home and met the family. She met his family, and soon they were engaged.
Sam and Makenna were married in the LDS temple in Portland, Oregon on June 7, 2014. Last year while I was there it rained, a LOT! Which I was not used to. But this time I felt a lot more at home with beautiful clear blue skies and warmer weather. Take a peek at Sam and Makenna’s perfect day.:
If you enjoyed this little sneak peek at Sam and Makenna’s big day, then take a look at their whole story on their slideshow HERE.

I recently had the opportunity to work with the amazingly talented and beautiful Katherine (Kate) Smith. While Kate was getting her Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University–Idaho she developed a passion for music and performance and she knew that was what she wanted to do for her career. She recently received her masters at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and is now pursuing her dream as a professional opera singer. The day we selected for our shoot just happened to be incredibly windy. But some how, between my light stand constantly blowing over, and Kate’s infectious laughter, we got some amazing portraits. Kate, I will work with you ANYTIME!
A couple of years ago I was privileged to do the newborn photos of sweet little Lorelai Cooper (you can see her session here). Mom and Dad just had a new baby, Hudson, and now I had the opportunity to snuggle and photograph him. Mom brought some great props for our shoot from Grandpa’s teddy bear, to Daddy’s boots, and old tools. Welcome Lil’ Mr. Hudson.

I first met Kassidy a few years ago while shooting her big sister, Shelby’s senior portraits. (You can view Shelby’s session HERE.) So I was so excited when they called me to do Kassidy’s senior portraits. Kassidy and Shelby went out to scout for a great location. They found an awesome spot that produced some magnificent images. Congratulations Kassidy!
