Introducing Lauren & Brennan Davis

Last November I was shooting a wedding and a cute girl came up to me and said she wanted me to shoot her wedding. . . but she wasn’t engaged yet.  Flash forward several months and I get a call that she is engaged to her high school sweetheart and they are getting married in July.  So, on July 14, Lauren Arrowsmith married Brennan Davis in the Gilbert, Arizona temple.  The only thing hotter than the July Arizona sun was their love and happiness at beginning their lives together.  It was so fun to work with this sweet couple and their families.  Congratulations Lauren and Brennan!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Flores

I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Mikenzie Fitzpatrick to Gilbert Flores on Saturday, June 30, 2018. They were sealed in the new Tucson Arizona temple. This was my first wedding in Tucson and it was such a beautiful (although sweltering hot) day.  Mikenzie and Gilbert are such a great couple and were so fun to work with and so full of love and laughter.  Congratulations Mikenzie and Gilbert!  Wishing you an eternity of happiness!

Introducing Brandi & Ethan Fredrick

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the wedding of Brandi Peterson to Ethan Fredrick on Saturday, June 23, 2018. They were sealed in the Gilbert Arizona Temple  at 9:00am.  The lighting that time of day is so harsh and the heat was unbearable, yet we were able to get some amazing images of this beautiful bride and groom with their family and bridal party.  Congratulations Brandi & Ethan!  Wishing you an eternity of happiness!

Introducing Ashley & Tyler Ashcraft

The best compliment a client can give me is to refer me to a friend or loved one.  Well, you may remember the beautiful wedding of Mallory & Nathan Judd last October (if not, you can take a peek here. )  Nathan’s sister, Ashley just got married and guess who got to shoot their wedding?  THIS GIRL!  It was so much fun to work with Ashley and her family again and it was great meeting her awesome groom, Tyler Ashcraft.  Tyler and Ashley were sealed in the Gilbert Arizona temple on Saturday, June 23, 2018.  That night they had a beautiful ring ceremony and reception at the Wright house.

Introducing Kelsie & Chris Taney

Wow!  This was such a great wedding.  The mother of the bride, Kim Rhoton, is one of the most amazing, hard-working, dedicated, caring people I know and I am lucky enough to call her one of my best friends.  The Rhoton’s moved in across the street from us almost 20 years ago and we became fast friends.  I have had the privilege of watching Kim and Jeff raise their four kids to become amazing adults (youngest son, Bryce, just graduated high school, so they are officially on their way to being empty nesters!) Bride, Kelsie, has always been such a sweet, kind girl.  I have watched her from from a third grader in pig tails, until a beautiful young woman graduating high school, and onto college, and her career as a nurse.  It was so fun to hear her love story and journey as she met and fell in love with Chris Taney.  Kelsie and Chris were sealed in the Gilbert, Arizona, temple on Saturday, May 12, 2018.  Congratulations Kelsie and Chris!

Introducing Mikayla & Connor Hanks

I love my job, but this week I really LOVED my job.  Groom, Connor Hanks served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mesa, Arizona, and we had the privilege of having him serve in our ward for several months.  During that time we enjoyed having him in our home many times and really grew to love this great young man.  Fast forward  about a year and he finished his mission, fell in love and got engaged to the beautiful Mikayla Rowland.  They planned to wed in the Gilbert Arizona temple, but their photographer cancelled at the last minute.  Thankfully, Connor remembered that I also photographed weddings and he called me.  We were so close to the wedding that we didn’t have time for the typical “golden Hour” formal portraits of the bride and groom, and so we headed out to Lost Dutchman state park at 6:00 o’clock in the morning.  Boy it felt early driving to the park in the dark, but as the sun came up over the  Superstition Mountains and we began to shoot, I was in love!  We got some incredible shots of this gorgeous couple .  It was very windy, but the light was amazing, the scenery was breathtaking, and the love between these two was palpable.  It was an incredible shoot (see below for the proof).  Thanks for thinking of me Mr. & Mrs. Elder Hanks!  :)

Introducing Alena & Rubiago Silveira

Bride, Alena, went on her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Brazil.  Groom, Rubiago,  was born and raised in Brazil.  Ironically, that is NOT where they met!  But when love is meant to be, two people manage to find each other, even if they are a country apart.  From the minute I met these two I could see the intense and enduring love they have for each other.  It was such an honor to capture their special day.  On Thursday, December 14, 2017, Alena Porter married Rubigo Luccas Silveira in the Gilbert, Arizona temple for time and all eternity.  Congratulations to a couple that is as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside!

Introducing Kris & Jason Moyes

I have been photographing Kristin Robison and her family for ten years.  I have loved watching her cute kids grow and change over the years and have become friends with Kristin.  She is one amazing woman!   When she called me to tell me she was getting remarried in New Port beach, California,  I was over-the-moon excited for her.  It was so fun meeting her groom, Jason Moyes, and his four great kids too.  Blending a new family of 10 may be a challenge, but I can see so much love between Kris and Jason and I know they will make it work.  And check out how cute they all are!
