Introducing Spencer and Anna-Manuela Cluff

I had the honor of working with Spencer Cluff and Anna-Manuela (Mani) John  on their beautiful January 16, 2016 wedding.  The day of their formal wedding portraits it was raining cats and dogs.  We live in the valley of the sun and it is rare that we have a day without the sun peeking through the clouds at some point in the day.  But this day was different.  It was raining the ENTIRE day.  As we headed for the temple the rain was coming down in sheets so we said a little prayer that we would at least get a few shots without drowning.  When we arrived at the temple is was still drizzling, but by the time we started shooting the rain let up.  It was still cloudy and gray, but we didn’t feel a single rain drop. . . until our last photo for the day.  Then it rained the rest of the day, evening, and the next day.  Tender mercy!  In strong contrast, the day of their wedding, as they exited the temple into full sunshine the sky was the bluest I have ever seen it!  Congratulations Mani & Spencer!!!

Introducing Brian and Amber Doyle

On the beautifully warm winter day of January 14, 2016, Brian Doyle married the lovely Amber Winscom at the Castle at Ashley Manor.  During their ceremony they combined two vials of oil and lit it to symbolize their two lives combining as one. Congratulations Amber & Brian, wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!

The Karbula & Sigler Families

I have been so overwhelmingly busy the last couple of months that I haven’t blogged many sessions.  But I am trying to get back on the blogging bandwagon.  And what a great family to start out the new year with!  I have known mom, Amy, since my big kids were in elementary school at Highland Elementary where she was the librarian, now she teaches 5th grade.  She is an amazing woman.  I have had the opportunity to work with her cute family on everything from family photos, to senior portraits, and even Courtney and Justin’s wedding.  Thanks for another great shoot Karbula and Sigler family!

Schild Family 2015

I LOVE THIS FAMILY! Steve and Hailey Schild are two of the sweetest people I know. And boy do they make beautiful children. You may recognize them because I use their cute family on a lot of my advertising.  This shoot was actually a two-parter:  One was the entire family for their annual portraits and the second was just with baby Brynn for her 6-month old portraits.  Take a peek at all their cuteness!  (* You can also view some of their other shoots here, here, here, and here. )

Meet the Olsen Family

I just loved working with this cute family!  The Olsens used to be our neighbors and their kids are all so happy and well behaved.  Dr. Olsons practice is called  Arizona Red Mountain Eyecare, so we picked a location that featured the gorgeous Red Mountain in the background.

McNally Family 2015

One of the greatest parts of my job is having clients that become friends.  I look forward to seeing them year after year and watching their families grow.  The McNally’s are one of those awesome families!  This is the 6th year I have taken their family photos and they just get cuter every year.  I have loved watching Emily and Gabby grow into beautiful teenagers and getting to know them all better.  Can’t wait until next year!

Meet the adorable Harmon family!  I first did their photos in 2012 (you can see that session here.) Then they moved to Chicago so I didn’t see them for a few years.  But they are back in Mesa!  It was so fun to see their adorable family, and their newest addition, Quinn!  Welcome back Harmon Gang!
