Introducing Michael and Sarah Visher!

I first met bride, Sarah Hall, while shooting her family portraits several years ago.  Back than she was just out of high school and heading off to school.

Fast forward to 2012:  Michael Visher from sunny California met Sarah Hall from sunny, HOT Arizona at Brigham Young University in cold, snowy Utah.  They fell in love and decided to get married.   This cute duo got married here in Mesa, Arizona, on April 26, 2012, at the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple.  Their reception was later that night at the charming Stonebridge manor.  Sarah and Michael are a beautiful couple and it was so fun to be a part of their special day!  Congratulations you two!

If you liked this sneak peek at Michael & Sarah’s wedding, take a look at the slide show of their big day right here!

Meet H.S. Senior: Tyson Lund

I love the Lund family!  Tyson’s parents are great people.  In fact, his Dad, Dave Lund helped us find the house we just moved into in December.  He and his partner, Jeff Setlow, were incredible to work with and I highly recommend them.  They were so knowledgeable and attentive to our needs.  If you are in the market for a new home, you can find them here.  I have known Tyson Lund since he was about eight-years-old.  It is so fun to watch these kids grow up and graduate.  Tyson is graduating from Heritage Academy here in Mesa.  Tyson plays the guitar, and football, and was also heavily involved in theater.  He is a great young man:

Meet the Mobley Family

Alexandra Mobley contacted me a couple of months ago to do a fun family/Easter shoot.  Their adorable little guy, Hayden, did not want to give me many smiles.  But with those big chocolate eyes he was still irresistible.

Happy 2nd Anniversary Daniel & Valeria!

I had the wonderful privilege of shooting Daniel & Valeria Montoya’s beautiful wedding.  Recently, Val called me to set up an appointment to do a shoot for their second anniversary.  I can’t believe it has been two years.  Times seems to pass way too quickly these days.  Here is Val and Daniel’s 2nd anniversary shoot:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MONTOYAS

Val has this cute idea of each year on their anniversary, holding a photo of themselves from the year before.

Meet H.S. Senior: Mackenzie Skousen

I met Mackenzie several years ago when I first did her family photos, so I was excited when her mom called me to do her senior portraits.  Mackenzie is a senior at Mountain View high school who is on her way to college at Brigham Young University, and she is also an amazing volleyball player!  Mackenzie chose the beautiful scenery of natural Arizona at Granite Reef.   She and her mom brought some fun props and we had a great time.

Mackenzie’s little sister also came along for the shoot, so of course we needed to snap some shots of her smiling face!

And a parting shot of these cute sisters!

Lil’ Miss Tess turns ONE!

Almost exactly a year ago I had the opportunity to do a maternity shoot of my beautiful friend, Sarah VanSteenkiste.  I loved how the images turned out, you can view them HERE.  Flash forward, a very quick year and her adorable little bundle of joy is already turning one-year-old.  Tess stole my heart the first time I saw her.  I just love this little one.  Every time I would see her, I just had to hold her and give her a little snuggle.  She is absolutely scrumptious.

Meet H.S. Senior: Angela Streecter

Angela Streecter is a senior and a cheerleader at Red Mountain High School.   Her mom, and her boyfriend, Xavier Proano, joined us on our shoot and so of course, we had to get some pictures of Angela and Xavier together too.  Not to mention, I made her show me some of those famous high cheerleading jumps. Check out this girls contagious smile:

Evan & Morgan are gettin’ hitched!

The beautiful Morgan McDaniel is the oldest daughter of my friend Shauna, and she is getting married.  And, if you live in Mesa, you have to know of, and love, Neds Crazy Subs.  Well, Morgan is marrying Ned’s son, Evan Brimley.  I am so excited for them, and excited for me too—I think I will just have them pay me in sandwiches!

For their engagement photos we made the long and very winding drive out east to Tortilla flats:

Meet H.S. Senior: Alex Sprecher

I have the greatest clients and the best compliment they can give me is referring me to their friends.  Alex, was referred to me by her friend, Natasha Featherston, one of my 2011 seniors.  She loved how Natasha’s images turned out and decided to have her senior portraits taken at the same place.  Alex is not only beautiful, but also wasn’t afraid to show her fun, silly side.
